Existing owner? Get Fallout 4 VR plus three free months of Viveport Subscription.

HTC VIVE is glad to announce that starting today, October 2nd, customers who purchase an HTC Vive, will receive a free redemption code for Fallout 4 VR, a $59.99 value, which launches on December 12, 2017 (vive.com/fallout4-vr).

Fallout 4, the legendary post-apocalyptic adventure from Bethesda Game Studios and winner of more than 200 ‘Best Of’ awards, including the DICE and BAFTA Game of the Year, and most recently ‘Best Virtual Reality Game’ at gamescom 2017, finally comes in its entirety to VR. Fallout 4 VR includes the complete core game with all-new combat, crafting, and building systems fully reimagined for virtual reality.

“Fallout 4 VR is the most anticipated title for VR this holiday, and the game development team at Bethesda Game Studios is delivering on the promise with a full-length AAA open-world game that takes advantage of Vive’s incredible room-scale immersion for a mind-blowing experience in the Wasteland,” said Joel Breton, GM of Vive Studios. “The promise of a game with near endless content, including hundreds of locations, characters, and quests, fully playable in VR, is something that we have been focused on providing for the VR gaming community. We are now thrilled to provide this incredible game to new Vive owners and eagerly look forward to game’s launch on Vive this December.”

The freedom of exploring the wasteland comes alive like never before when experienced using Vive’s superior room-scale technology. Vive’s submillimeter tracking for responsiveness and accuracy makes it the most immersive way to experience Fallout 4.

Existing Vive customers who purchase Fallout 4 VR, will be able to sign up for a bonus 3-month Viveport Subscription offer that will be available prior to the game’s launch. Viveport Subscription allows consumers to choose from over 250 pieces of content, giving consumers the best value to discover VR content. Visit Viveport.com/Fallout4VR for purchase details, launch dates, and additional offers.

Players must be 18 or over to redeem Fallout 4 VR code. Please check your local vive.com for details and availability.

WooHoo!  Good to know.  My local store has stuffed me around (also another thread) and I was stressing that I wouldn't get this bundle.  So, from what I understand, you login to "Viveport" and redeem your bundle.  Whether that be Google paint + Richie's plank and Everest VR..... OR  Google paint and Fallout VR (when released).

If this is to be true, i'll let the useless locals continue to try and get my device and enjoy it when I finally get home from work travel the following week.  If the wife cannot collect it from their store on Wednesday (as promised by them), i'm cancelling and buying directly online from Vive.  I know I'll have to wait again, but it's the principle of the matter!  :)

Actually, apparently Australia is different yet again.  Not only for the pricing but for the bundle policy.  FFS, I haven't even taken receipt of my Vive and i'm already anoyed with it!  By the way, the link supplied to contact the Australia Vive leads to a 404 Not found page.

Online chat with the AU support says that we have to buy it online to qualify.  This WILL annoy retailers a lot.

Dear XXXXXXX,Thank you for contacting Vive Support. We always appreciate hearing from our customers. With reference to your concern about a redemption code for the Fallout 4 game. The Vive promo is offered for online purchase only. Please check with the store if they also carry the same promo for the Vive.If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reply to this email or chat with us at https://www.vive.com/auz/support/contactus/. We are available from 8:00AM - 8:00PM AEST, 7 days a week.Thank you and have a great day!Sincerely,Vive Supporthttp://www.vive.com/anz

I'll let you know tomorrow .  Mine has been delivered to EBGames in Townsville, but I'm away with work and fly home late tonight.  After I setup the unit tomorrow, it will be the first thing it check.  There will be heads on poles if I don't get what I expected to get.

That being said, I'm sure the mod's here are really nice people and will try everything in their power to resolve the problem.  The one's I've chatted to have been good anyway.  The above reference is for EBGames really, since they have yet to impress me with their "service".

thanks for the heads up! But I caved and just bought it though the website because heads would definitely roll if I didn't get that fallout 4. I really hope you get it too!

OK, can DEFINITELY confirm that store purchased Vive units unlock on the Vive store giving you a choice of FalloutVR or Ritchies Plank experience + Everest VR.  Plus both choices come with Google brush and the subscription.  Sorry for the delay, but by the time i picked up my unit (4 hours ago), setup the vive and updated the firmwares, I was too busy playing Project Cars2 VR.  AMAZING!!!  Now to play with Paintbrush and more stuff!

Peace out!  and happy escaping reality for a while!

I'm truly disappointed at this bundle news because I bought Vive last year, in first phase of launch.

When I heard the price getting down of Vive several time, I could make myself understood because I could have enjoyed precious VR experience prior to the later customers. (Even if the saving were more than $300 ...)

But at this time,  it cannot help driving me mad...

I'm really, really looking forward to play FO4 in VR. So, I looked over steam again and again.

However, there have not been no mercy in the price for VR, $59 even though the normal version had 60% OFF sale price.

Then, I feel a little annoying, but  still I'm expect the release.

But, finally today, I got a Tweet from @Fallout, saying

Ready to make the leap into VR? @htcvive will let you get a free copy of #Fallout4VR.

Could you imagine my exultation?

Yes, definitely yes. I'm ready for it 1 year ago!

As a result of visiting this site, there are only despair.

There are only bundle for "NEW" Vive purchase.
