  5. Welcome to the first ViRtual Scoop! To give you a brief idea of how this will work, I will be pairing a couple of titles from the top games section on Viveport Infinity. Having never played these game before, I will also be sharing some of my initial impressions. Now, let's get rolling! Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs Reaction: I'm sure most of you all have played or know of Angry Birds on your phone. I was expecting it to be very similar and not to my surprise, it was very much what I imagined. The only main difference is, I found myself right inside of the island (hence the idea of VR haha). At first, I had to get use to the slingshot and how to correctly aim. Once I got used to the controls, it was smooth sailing there on forward. Shooting from the slingshot felt realistic, given the 3-dimensional nature of the game structure. The challenge is to calculate and make each one of your shots count. My absolute favorite part of the game was being able to teleport. With the ability to teleport from one place to another, it allow players to shoot from various angles to maximize your chances. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the game and the character animations! The controls were something I needed to get use to because I kept on picking and dropping objects left and right (oops haha). Once I overcame the learning curve, the game grew on me. I really liked the madness that was happening throughout the game, from shooting the mutated fruits to scanning the groceries, there were a lot of multitasking involved. Another way to put it, it challenged my hand-eye coordination. My favorite part is how fast-paced and engaging the game was. It keeps you on your tippy toes!   6. Check your store settings on your viveport account on the website, mine is set on US for some reason so the problem was the ZIP code, if you have US too use 90015, if not try and find a zip code that's from the country in the store settings
  7. Um yeah so what is the fix for this? I am too am having the same problem. And from what I am seeing online we're not the only ones.

I have a Viveport account issue that my existing Viveport account was unable to login and got locked out and when trying multiple password resets I never get a reset email and does not go to SPAM, however I get the monthly receipt for the the charge. I sent a request to support and opened a ticket. And I get emails from there. The tech replied and said they manually sent a reset email. I never got it, they sent another and said it was going to some totally different email address that was not mine, and I told them that - told them I thought my account might be compromised as that was not my email. They then said the manually sent a reset to my correct address - that I never got , then said said the was an issue with my domain, (but I'm getting all their emails and other emails - and now have not heard back in 3 days now. I have chatted with VIVE support and they said they could not help me and to send another request. and all that does is they close the new request and copy the text to the open case. I could not even log into the forum with my account and had to create a whole new separate one. but need my original account as that has purchases from the last 2 years in it . I just need them to either change the email on the original account or somehow get the a reset password. Does anyone know how to directly contact account services - by phone? Customer Service and help really Suck here!

I will be working very closely with @SuperNikoPower to continue to grow our community by generating some exciting contents.   15. I have the exact same issue. I never received the code i was promised. Instead they charged the money after 2 weeks. The email support is just a bad joke. They dont even KNOW about this offer and are not able to help me AT ALL. It seems like they dont even understand what i am talking about. THIS is by far the worst experience i had in quite a while and absolutely no base to start a monthly abo of your service.
  16. @Schweppes - As I said in your other posts, I've converted your forum post into a ticket and have also sent some internal email surrounding the bug you're encountering. The support ticket will be the primary way for our techs to communicate with you. Our offices in Taipei (where the relevant teams sit) were unexpectedly closed on Friday/Saturday due to Typhoon Lekima - those teams should be coming back online shortly.

Viveport was working fine before the update, once I did it's just stuck on set store location, all rules in the Firewall are enabled, tried disabling it + windows defender and still it doesn't work Is maybe a problem with my living in Israel or something? cause I don't know what to do right now

  21. @PieterPW - I've generated a support ticket with the email address associated by your account so I can have a technical specialist weigh in on what's happening here. Based off your report, I can imagine it being potentially related to fire walls - ensure Windows Defender firewall is whitelisting the client - here is a current list of our port configs and firewall wildcards.
  22. I've been using viveport a DAY and I'm already annoyed of this. Like moonsong, I'm fine with ads as long as they are not this intrusive. An always on top pop up is ok if it is RARE, and there is an option to not show it again. Putting it beside ads for games, apps and experiences is fine. But each launch, AND every time I close an app? I've only launched the app TWICE. yesterday and today, and I've already seen the ad at least 4 times! There doesn't even seem to be anything here that I can't access on steam. The only benefit it seems of using viveport is to only list VR games and apps rather than everything. But the annoying pop up is worse than just going through steam. Especially when there is a VR section in my library, and I can discover games and apps through the website, and it doesn't have that pop up. I'm surprised that this is the only relavent result when I googled how to permanently dismiss viveport infinity pop up... I guess either everyone purchases viveport or they just don't use the app...
