  1. Chances are youll be unable to play with the wireless adapter. Like i said Ive only seen x370 chipset boards work
  2. You will have issues more than likely. In the case of the wireless adapters not working its the fault of the motherboards not the processors. It appears that then only motherboard types that are working are most of the Asrock ones and the Gigabyte X370 chipset. What motherboard did you buy?
  3. Could you share exactly what Mobo youre using, sorry its been buried within all these other posts, and im so fed up with this im probably just gonna upgrade so i can play.
  4. Its time to begin returning your units people. They're not likely to fix this anytime soon. Absolute disgrace. Scam is the only word for it.
  5. Yeah they need to step the **bleep** up and admit that it for the most part will NOT work on Ryzen systems. In total out of everyone thats posted only one person with claims of it working has not come back to say that its broken after a few hours. Thats 1 out of dozens. they need to admit their **bleep** up, or let us know WHEN its going to be fixed.
  6. If you have a AMD Ryzen CPU you will not be able to use the Wireless adapter for the time being. It will hardlock and blue screen your computer within 10 minutes of usage.
  7. Welp I cannot believe that theres still nothing official on this its been over a week since launch. Absolutely pathetic.
  8. Youre def onto something there, sad thing for me is that my bios doesnt have anyway to manually assign individual slots to anything
  9. My mobo is a Gigabyte Gaming 3 https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x#kf
  10. My bios doesnt seem to let me set individual slots to any mode and i dont see any "super io skewing" option either. Shame :(
  11. Ive been getting on an R5 1600 and Gtx 1080 with a Gigabyte Gaming 3 motherboard and 16 gigs of 3200mhz ram
  12. So myself and several people on the r/Vive subreddit with Ryzen series cpus are encountering a Blue Screen of Death and total lockups of our computers when attempting to use the vive wireless adapter. This issue eneds to be fixed and is persisting accross several types of Ryzen CPUs and mobos. It also only seems to occur when steamvr is active. before that nothing will happen the vive Wireless app pairs to the ehadset just fine but when steam vr is used itll BSOD in about 2-10 minutes.
  13. Looks like I probably have DOA unit then, Ive tried pretty much everything here and nothing. Infact i have an issue i havent seen otherwise, if i try to play a game 1 or 2 minutes into a game and the entire computer will freeze up completely, If i wait either the pc will give me a blue screen of death or it will remain frozen (i waited for 20 mins) then when i reboot steamvr will have uninstalled istelf for whatver reason. its blue screened 6 times and froze 3
