  1. Hi guys, Yesterday I was troubleshooting this issue. Here you have my comments: First TIP: Disable the front cameras. With them active, it was impossible to do anything, with a lot of cuts, low resolution and dropping the FPS. A part than the camera resolution is now really bad, and you cannot see anything focused. I hope it will be reviewed by the HTC team. :smileyhappy: So, the thing is that I have a good PC, i7 4.9OC, 1080 ti, etc, and as I said in my last post, the HMD wired works perfectly. Here is my contribution for the HTC technical support: I've uploaded a couple of videos showing how when the HMD is sitted, still, without any move, the image displayed is moving a little bit, causing dizziness, when in theory it should be like freezed. The Wigig signal is full (4 bars). I hope this can help them to find where the issue is. https://youtu.be/dXQIpnURNcA https://youtu.be/M54ajY7tEjQ
  2. Hi all, Same problem here. I received it yesterday and after installing it, I started having the same issues described above. I have had no problems in the past when it was wired, everything was smoothly, but since I installed the WiGig it becomes unplayable. With loss and coming back of resolution, and like loss of frames, even when you are in Steam VR Home and activate the Desktop: if you move your head a little bit, the movement is not fluid, causing dizziness. I belive the HTC team is working hard to find a resolution for this issue. I do not want to return this accessory. I was waiting to have this HMD wireless and play smoothly, like I have been doing wired. P.S. It would be good to advertise the user to charge the battery before setting up the WiGig, because in my case, I followed the instructions and in the last step, it updates automatically the Firmware, and the battery level was very low, but it finished successfully. Just to ensure that you do not run out of battery before the process concludes.. :smileywink: Thanks.
  3. Hi guys, Finally I solved it. :smileywink: Here are the steps done: 1.- Plug the linkbox to a USB 2.0 port. By doing this, the camera was recognized automatically on Steam VR Beta (camera settings) 2.- Move back to SteamVR (no Beta) version. (Optional) 3.- Plug the linkbox into USB 3.1 port (from the tower front planel, directly coming from the MB, not from its back panel). That's all. After this I can enjoy the camera hardware again. Note: On the USB SteamVR settings, it stills only recognizes the Bluetooth, but again, the camera is working fine on Windows 10 Pro 1803. Hope this will be helpful to someone else with the same issue. Cheers.
  4. Dear Unfortunately I cannot rollback, as it is a new clean installation, I just installed the last Win 10 Pro version. I'm also searching on other forums and you're correct, there are more users in the same case. Looks like by default Win 10 is blocking the access to the camera, and this is the proposed solution: Turn on the Let apps use my camera setting on Windows privacy settings (I'll try it later, when I go back home) and let you know. Thanks.

Follow the below instructions to enable the camera. Step 1. Click on Start, and tap Settings from the Start screen Step 2. Select Privacy from the Settings window Step 3. Select Camera from the left pane Step 4. Turn on the Let apps use my camera setting Step 5. In the Choose apps that can use your camera list, turn on the camera for all applications that need access to your camera

  7. Hi Yes, you're right. The thing is that I recently changed my computer, and in the old one (running Windows 7 64bit) the cameras were working fine, so there is no hardware problem, but in the new PC (Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1803) I'm having exactly the issue described. Thanks. Best.
  8. Hi there, I tried every described step without success. I'm still having the same issue described on this post. Does anyone solved this doing something different? Thanks in advance.
  9. Wow, my respect man! This is what I was looking for. Like in your case, I have no audio issues, I only miss to feel better the bass, like if I'm doing some pressure with my fingers to the headset (And I need them for playing.. :manhappy: ) Many thanks for your contribution.
