  1. I uninstalled SteamVR. Reinstalled it. Still get distorted audio. I don't have audio mirroring on either. I moved my USB around to another port and still audio distortion. This is getting really really old......
  2. Ok. So now everything sounds distorted and there is still very little bass. I'm getting tinny crackling on every game.
  3. I've submitted 2 support e-mails. One when I got the device 4 weeks ago and one more yesterday asking to RMA it. I haven't heard anything back on either e-mail.
  4. You will get an e-mail in a few days saying that they thought you were a spam account. That is what they did to me as well when I started to call it out as a hardware problem. Funny how that works....
  5. Vinyl Reality sounds like a trasistor radio. It's a DJ game and it sounds like I'm playing music on a old Victrola. There is a lot of my money tied up into this thing and it sounds horrible. I'm getting a bit concerned that this issue is not going to get fixed no matter how many 'patches' they release.
  6. Camera on/off does not fix the lack of bass.
  7. Please, by all means, keep deleting the posts without answering. 4th try. Is it a hardware issue or a software issue?
  8. So, 2 deleted posts later. Is this a sofware issue or a hardware issue?
  9. Once again, after having my post deleted, what I want to know is if this is a software/driver issue or a hardware issue. If it is a hardware issue then I would like to know so that I can start a return. Also, thanks for deleting my post. It's always interesting to see how people who paid over $800.00 for a item gets treated when they were one of the first ones to point out a problem. Guess that is the level of service you get for being the 6th person to talk about a legitimate problem. Nice.
  10. So, at this point I want to know if this is a driver issue or a hardware issue. If it is a hardware issue I would like to start a RMA.
  11. I updated the firmware as well and can confirm that I still have the tinny sound.
  12. I would like to add myself to the list. I hear a lot of high pitched sounds and very little low bass sounds. As such, the sound coming from the ear buds is 'tinny'. Meaning it sounds like it is coming from a tin can. I have tried many different positions on the ear buds but still get the same experiance. It may be beause I switched from the Deluxe Audio Strap on my old Vive setup. It had great sound. But still, there should be more bass sounds coming out of this $800.00 piece of equipment.
