  1. oh yeah. sorry to rest of the threaders for kinda throwing this thread a little bit off-topic. Op, feel free to delete any irrelevant posts
  2. Ooowkaaay. Probably my bad. Again. I (as a developer myself) am aware of the things developers are aware of. Perhaps things should be made clearer by the PR department. I really had the idea there was a different version for the wireless adapter for the Vive & the Vive Pro. I couldn't really see this on your website right away, which, probably is a shame. Haven't ordered anything just yet, so if you could enlighten me what i need i would be glad to take a look into that. Thanks again for your reply. greets, p
  3. Thanks for your swift reply David, it's a clear explanation! Guess i'll have to buy a new desktop and another Vive to make the wireless headset work :) Unfortunately the wireless headsets for the Vive & the Vive Pro are incompatible? I would have bought the pro otherwise... Hey whatever, kids will love to play Elven Assassin in a 2 player multiplayer mode by themselves.... Off to work now to make up for the necessary $$$
  4. As some of you already mentioned here, there ARE solutions for integration a PCI-e card in a laptop. But don't get ur hopes up high just yet. (fi look at this : https://www.banggood.com/Mini-PCI-E-Version-V8_0-EXP-GDC-Beast-Laptop-External-Independent-Video-Card-Dock-p-1011222.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN) These "solutions" are (as mentioned) NOT compatible with GT1030, GTX1050, GTX1050TI, GTX1060TI, GTX1070TI, GTX1080TI, which just happen to be the cards most peeps are using, right? But perhaps there are other pieces of hardware out there? Or is it just *impossible* to get the amount of datastream which is necessary to run through some cheesy-ass adapters? **bleep**, i felt so good being able to play really wirelessly, and now this **bleep**. But from what i see & hear, here, and on the rest of the HTC fora, HTC should really put some effort into making this work, since a lot of people are craving for this thing to work on their laptops. I thought i had a really bad-ass gaming laptop. Go HTC! Go. And make this work. Real soon. As in, before end-of-year :)
  5. same here dude. what a load of crap for not more explicit warnings, cuz, seriously, most people are using laptops, right?
