I recently decided to try the free trial of the Viveport subscription service, but when I tried playing some games they all suffered from a very low framerate. games launched from Oculus home or Steam VR have no framerate problems. I even ran a demo of the game Racketball Nx on steam which ran fine, but the same game downloaded from viveport was still laggy. the lag is also variable, and is slightly diffrent every time I open a game. knockout league worked fine at first, but the second time I opened the game it was unplayable. I also noticed that before viveport launches a game, Steam VR launches as well and it lags there too. I doubt my specs are to blame, but I'll list them anyway.
GPU: gtx 970
CPU: intel core i7 6700k
RAM: 16gb
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
