  1. Mate, thank you so much. I've moved it to the other group of 2 USB ports on the motherboard and it is working fine now. I suppose these would be the Intel ones and no the ASMedia ones given that. Have never known they had different drivers before, and just used when any of the USB ports when moving the setup. Cheers Ash
  2. Microphone gone? Not really, I'm sure it's still physically there. I'm unable to get the microphone to work, or show up as a device in Windows 10. It had been working fine since Vive Cosmos launch day, but I hadn't used the headset in a period of 4-5 weeks (around beta firmware release 1.0.8.8). Over that period of time, there had been 2 beta firmware releases for the Vive Cosmos. I installed these but didn't use the headset until last week or so. I'm at a loss as to what I can attempt to fix the microphone problem. I have tried resetting the headset via the Vive Console but no change observed in the situation. Attached screenshots of device manager and Windows sound settings. I used to be able to select Vive Cosmos in here to use the microphone and it would be alright. The speakers on the headset are working fine, no issues there. Any suggestions at all? I haven't uninstalled everything and re-run setup from HTC site yet. Think it's worth giving that a shot when I have more time? Bonus Questions (Not so important) Also, whilst I'm here, I want to ask what does the blue button on the left side of this headset do (besides cause massive lag)? and the light indicator above it? The camera feature where you can see your environment in your headset and which can show up when you move outside the boundary. It seems very erratic. Eg. During the room setup when it comes to drawing the boundary, it will show my surroundings through via the cameras, but most of the time it doesn't do that at all. Another example, If I double press the Vive button on the right controller, I usually see my surroundings through the cameras, but sometimes doesn't at all and just lags the video until I double press again. Mostly just curious why it isn't consistent? Cheers Ash EDIT: I've also reported an issue via Vive Console as well, about a week ago. I'm expecting it to be a while to hear back though.
