  1. New to HTC/Vive stuff, got an account set up today linked to my Steam account. Don't have a headset currently but looking to invest in the future and noticed that on the product page (https://www.vive.com/ca/product/vive-pro-full-kit/) there's a "Test Your PC" EXE download. Downloaded that (ViveProSetup.exe), got through it far enough to create a VIVEPORT login. When trying to "Sign In" on the application on this page, I get to a dummy link that doesn't work. The link it goes to is this: http://%22https//www.htcsense.com/$SS$/Services/OAuth/Authorize?response_type=code&client_id=cb2340ce-2cc4-46f8-ac05-f75d40a96699&scope=issuetoken%20email%20birthday%20profile.write%20payment.security.write&redirection_url=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A62834%22 Taking out the obviously broken parts of the URL & fixing the missing colon (https://www.htcsense.com/$SS$/Services/OAuth/Authorize?response_type=code&client_id=cb2340ce-2cc4-46f8-ac05-f75d40a96699&scope=issuetoken email birthday profile.write payment.security.write&redirection_url=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A62834) fixes this - but the sign in is also broken. Tried to log in via Steam / via VIVEPORT and got errors on both (which I've now missed and forgot to screenshot - I think the VIVEPORT log in was a 400 error?), went back which broke the page and then refreshed which made it work? Anyone know why this is so busted?? I know HTC Vive is pretty trusted as a VR headset but this set up is making me a bit nervous to invest lmao a lot of the sites aren't very cooperative either (maybe it's just today? making my account was a couple of clicks off what it should've been)...but wanted to make this post in case anyone else is looking at this broken link and confused too?? Otherwise the program seems to be working OK, although not sure why this software is put on the website as a "Test Your PC" thing when it's literally the software required to run the hardware? Have a great day all 🙂
