  1. Yes, I got the gray/pink vertical line like in the picture I posted on 2.0.17.2 AND 2.0.17.3, the last firmware didn't change anything. What have changed is leaving the headset disconnected for 2 days and the line have become less bright but are still showing. Hopefully a future firmware update will prevent this damage... and my replacement will not suffer the same issue..
  2. Since there is no communication and no transparency about this widespread issue, I'm really scared that my replacement will do the same... Also I don't think it's a coincidence that HTC sent a email to all owner of Vive Pro 2 about turning off the link box when that issue started after the previous vive update. I really don't understand why my base station go to sleep but not my expensive vive pro 2 link box. My Vive 1 is going to sleep without any problem. I suspect that this is the reason of the hardware faillure, probably something overheat in the headset display and permanently break the display. Now, what will happen if I forgot to turn off the link box, will I get a broken vive pro 2 headset ? ---->>>>> Why HTC is silent about that ? Clearly we are beeing ignored.
  3. I sent a ticket to HTC with detailled information and got a copy/pasted response from support asking lot's of question that were already provided. I decided to not waste more time and I'm returning it to B&H where I purshased it. I don't trust my device anymore, this is a high-end and expensive device and it should works normally under normal usage. 4 days and a broken display and the fact I counted so far at least 10 people with the same issue on reddit make me think that the headset is not ready and the quality control was rushed. After the firmware update and after leaving the box unplug for 48 hours, the line seem to have fade away but at 50%, now I'm seeing mostly some grayed line at the same place, harded to see but still there but what important, this is a defect, what else will happen ? why this happen? overheat? so anyway, my defective device will be returned as soon as I get my shipping label. I'm lucky to have purshaced it at B&H instead of HTC since I would have been stuck to a massive Quality Control report for them, I lost enought time already, they need to do their own quality control and debugging and not ask the customer to do it for a device of this price. This is exactly my issue, found it on reddit from another user. This youtube got the problem 2 weeks ago:
  4. I just did the update hoping it will fix the pink/green line that started to show yesterday after 3 days of use only. I have green/pink line covering the half bottom of both screen on the headset and I sent a message to HTC but have not get any responde back.
