Ugh, you're kidding me. This has been complained about by myself and multiple people in the focus 3 thread. I was hoping it wasn't going to have the same issue with my XR... When the HMD sleeps it just loads the cpu cores - it's insane I have been begging Godin on their discord to get VD out - focus 3 and xr elite build will be out this month. HTC, this is extremely disappointing. Also heard that the HTC menu spawning on the opposite side of the room is a problem that carried over as well, lovely.

Ghost - This was the response from HTC support regarding the FPS value, just as an fyi: VBS running at 120hz the server capture and relay rate would be higher on the PC side which would cause FPS counters ran on the PC to show 120hz. The display on the Focus 3 though is capped at 90hz. Would just the capture and relay of the data as 120hz be beneficial still for the competitive gaming side of the equation if the display isn't fully capable of rendering at that speed? I think this is what is causing some of the confusion on the backend when I ask the question of the software team vs. the hardware team.

Yes, latest beta headset firmware fixed the issue for me. I was about to return it.

Yeah, i also have a 4090 and wifi 6e and WOW - to be fair i was doing this prior by modifying the config file. The connection appears to be more stable, however i just switched from wifi6 to 6e as well so hard to say. What I would love to see is 120hz!!! In the previous build I was able to force 120hz and get reliable speeds at 2448x2448 by modfiying the resolution and FPS value in the quality preset json. In the latest version the value is gone and adding it back has no affect. 120hz also works in ALVR but the controller mappings are trash so i won't use it. PLEASE PLEASE provide any guidance or unlock 120hz even if its "not supported" - I had to go back to my index for competitive gaming and i miss the wireless and high resolution!! thanks for all the hard work @C.T. and team
