  3. This is ridiculous! Now itĀ“s me complaining. I own a 3080 and I cant play any of my games, I get lag all over, tearing, freezes, etc. WHAT IS GOING ON, HTC? Are you trying to loose all your clients? Also, my room is inclined and my PC freezes completly. This is OUTRAGEOUS and itĀ“s going on for months (for 4XXX owners) and instead of geting better is getting worse since us with 3XXX GPUS are also experiencing this issues and cant use our expensive VR Headset. I am on the 2.1.21.4 Vive Console version, I dont know if it was updated or something but everything was working more or less fine until a couple of days ago. If this is not fixed soon I will return my VR Headset and never, ever be a HTC customer again. For the love of god... We demand an answer from HTC Support team and for them to FIX THIS!

  7. Dear HTC Support Team: The time you take to fix something a serious as this is to high, this is unacceptable to us consumers. Please put this kind of things in your prioritizes, otherwise people will start choosing other brand VR Headsets, which dont have or solve their problems quicker. Thanks
  8. Thanks, m8. The problems came back but were solved when I bought a vesa certified DisplayPort 1. version cable. My old was was 1.2, most certainly. I didn't understand the part about ViveXR and SteamXR, we can choose which software we can use? Regarding the resolution, some people say to leave the SteamVR at 100% and Vive Console at Balanced mode, for my card at least. But I believe I am going to put it on AUTO, like you suggest. But I am inclined to buy the 3080, nonetheless, to take more advantage of this highresolution. I think I will buy FPSVR for 4 euros to know the exact frames per second I am having in each game. SteamVR shows the milliseconds but I dont know how to interpreter it. This many options and settings, along with spending hours but not achieving a way to play Asseto Corsa, Project Cars and Elite Dangerous in VR is getting me a bit frustrated. I am a tech geek and love to tinker but in this case I wished this was just plug and play...but thatĀ“s another subject! Cheers
  9. To take full advantage of the high resolution (depending on the game) of the headset sometimes a nvidia 4090 is needed but the current gen card prices are simply outrageous. But he'll be fine with the nvidia 3080 or the AMD 6900 xt, in my opinion. I own the 3060ti and I'm going to upgrade to the 3080.
  10. Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I tried them and I am happy to announce that everything seems to be working perfectly now (knock on wood) :) Meanwhile I installed the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, replacing the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. I currently own the Nvidia 3060ti GPU, I was thinking about upgrading to the 3800 (I can get it used for 500 and sell mine for 300). I know I wont be able to use full resolution in almost none of the games but, in your opinion, itĀ“s a worthy upgrade? I wish I could get a current gen but these prices are simply outrageous. Also, I am a bit lost regarding SteamVR and Vive Console setting. With the OG Vive I left it everything on AUTO. What setting do you use on both softwares? I see that SteamVR selects 150% resolution if I put it in Manual but just left it on Auto and selected "Balanced" mode on Vive Console since I read its the more adequate for my current GPU. Should I change it to AUTO? Thanks again for your help. Cheers!

  12. Hi guys. I just got a Vive Pro 2, was a og Vive user since the start and never had problems. Also bought the Index Controllers. The problem is that I am constantly getting black screens, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes forever and, on top of that, the pc freezes and I have to force it to shut down since not even ctrl+alt+del works. Most of the times Vive console says diaplayport cable disconnected, which is not true. Today I got a Grey and purple screen after some minutes of playing half Life: Alyx. The image on the monitor works like it's tracking the headset but then I try to restart the headset and the PC just freezes (didn't have that since windows XP). I reinstalled ValveVR Vive Console, tried diferent USB ports but nothing seems to be working and I'm getting desperate. Very disappointed and on the verge of returning this headset, unfortunately. Did anyone else had these symptoms and can give me some advice, please? Cheers
