Don't feel sorry. HTC should feel bad for providing so much fragmented information and so much confusion to developers.

I would like to know this too, in case Wifi fails sometimes.

I had the same issue. VBS works but eye traker is not detecte by SR_Runtime/VIVE consloe. The replies above did not notice op has mentioned that his VBS was in Beta and his VBS APP version was the same as recommended. Still waiting for a solution.
