  1. I have been having an issue attempting to use the linkbox mini DisplayPort with my OG HTC Vive. While using the DisplayPort interface the Vive visuals will go black/blank at random I've done my best to find the cause of the issue, I thought I had a cheap or bad cable but I have since bought three cables across different brands, most recently a Monoprice cable the exact spec (DisplayPort 1.2) the Vive expects and have had the same problem. Using HDMI I've never ran into this and my best guess at this point is something is up with the linkbox. I'm wondering if anyone may have any suggestions to remedy this issue. I'd like to free up the HDMI port for use my TV (HDMI 2.1) without having to switch them any time I want to use one or the other. I've tried Amazon Basics 4k Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable 3ft, CableDeconn Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 8k/4k cable, DP 1.4 and finally I've tried a Monoprice Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 cable When the screen goes black it's always for a short period (1-4 seconds) and audio continues to play and on the my monitor everything is displaying and working normaly. I have had the HTC Vive since 2018 and been using the HDMI port across two different video cards (Nvidia GeForce 980 and now a Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti) with no problems and it continues to work if I use the HDMI port. This issue is still present across a fresh install of Windows 10 recently. Specs Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (AMD X570, on latest BIOS) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5950x RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600MHz 64GB (Four 16GB sticks) GPU: EVGA FTW3 RTX 3070 Ti OS: Windows 10 Pro10.0.19045 Build 19045 Thanks.
