So I'm having a very bizarre problem and unsure how to fix it.
I have tried to stream PCVR through the streaming cable from my desktop (specs below), and it doesn't work, it pops up with a greyed out "VIVE Streaming" option, whenever I connect the cable.
I tested with the short cable that came with the headset and the option works fine (though unusable due to the cable length).
Now what's bizarre is when I connect the streaming cable to a new gaming laptop, the cable works fine and I can then stream as expected. Any idea why this would be the case?
To summarise:
Desktop Stream via SCable = No
Desktop Stream via small cable = Yes
Laptop Stream via both cables = Yes
