  1. I'm sure this has been around the horn a few times but i cant get my HTC Wireless Adapter to run smoothly - some applications its "OK" but others its unplayable with stuttering, pixilation and grayouts or blackouts completely - i have scoured the internet and tried every possible idea others have suggested - swapping all available PCI slots, forcing PCIe 3.0 in BIOS, uninstalling and reinstalling steam VR, Vive wirless, updating drivers and BIOS, relocating antenna to various locations ensuring line of sight - i see others with less powerful hardware boasting flawless results - i have OG Vive running the TPCast wireless and it works flawlessly but im wanting to upgrade to the better resolution of the Vive Pro or the Cosmos ( i do have both, and both the issue with the wireless ) while being wireless - my system specs are as follows.. CPU - i7 9700k Coffee Lake-S ( liquid cooled ) MoBo - Gigabyte Z390 UD BIOS vF10j ( forced PCIe v3.0 ) GPU - MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio 8G running in PCIe v3.0 x16 32GB G Skill F4-3000 RAM 1 TB M.2 Crucial NVMe SSD Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to upgrade hardware if there is a known issue but from what I've found my system should easily run this - thank you
  2. I am trying to connect my Vive Pro to a Dell G5 SE laptop, but the Vive will not display anything. The Laptop is not compatible with DisplayPort, so I am using a J5Create DisisplayPort to USB-C adapter. There are no SteamVR errors. The status light is green when the headset is on standby, but it turns red as soon as you pick it up.
  3. Hey, I want to ask about how can I connect the vive cosmos to asus fx 504. It haven't Dp or type c port. Can I just use some adapter like: https://www.amazon.se/dp/B018AX3HJO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YHbOFb606XKZ0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 And turn the type C again to other interface, maybe to type A or something. I think the configuration list for FX 504 is here: https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-TUF-Gaming-FX504/

  5. Hello there! So my current Link Box Power cable works bad and i'm looking for a new one. I couldn't find any on the HTC site. Then i searched around for a bit till i saw a reddit post with the Link Box power cable specifications. I started looking for the right cable but i couldn't find any. Where do i find the correct cable? (European power plug) Thanks!
  6. Hi! It is possible to use Tobii to get an eye-controlled mouse. This is meant to help disabled people. I would like the same functionality but in the headset. Can this be done? Tobii was sceptical, but they gave me a link to download their software. I except this will be difficult with proprietary software. I suppose it would be possible if I write an app myself. Can I do it outside the vr-environment?
