Bear8899
I just bought my friends old Vive off him which he hardly used because he didn't have an actual PC to run it with. It works fine with all VR specific games I have tried like Blade and Sorcery, Half-Life: Alyx and Pavlov. But when I try to play games with VR as an option like No-Man's Sky or even Tabletop Simulator the GPU use spikes to 100% for that game... I have tried verifying all relevant game files and updating drivers but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a GTX 1060 3GB which admittedly is not the finest but everything else runs smooth regardless. HackPerception
@Bear8899 That's not surprising for a 1060 GPU. You're pretty much at the hardware minimum requirements for VR, let alone the minimum requirements for specific pieces of content. You're likely not able to drive a full 90FPS on most modern games at 100% native resolution with that GPU and would require down sampling and interpretation. VR is just demanding like that.
