Unable to launch VIVEPORT VR - "Some software required has not been installed"?

I've just installed a Vive Pro Eye on my PC, installer completed successfully, all the firmware has been fully updated, and everything works perfectly in SteamVR. However, whenever I try to launch Viveport VR, I'm unable to because the standard Viveport window always says:

"Some software required for your VIVE Pro Eye has not been installed. Please complete the device set up process before continuing."

I have now repeated the device setup process successfully multiple times and rebooted my PC, and I am still presented with the same message every time I try to launch Viveport VR. Has anybody encountered similar issues?
