pilotguy772
So the vive wireless adapter has three main parts. The wireless link box, the WiGig card, and the wireless transceiver that connects to the WiGig card via coaxial. The transceiver connects to a coaxial cable on the card that then connects to some chip under the heatsink. Well, I was moving my computer the other day and I discovered that the wire that connects the female coaxial cable to the chip in the card got yanked out of the card. I removed the heatsink to investigate, and it appears there was a specific slot it was soldered in to that it got yanked out of. The card itself is not damaged other than that, the light still turns on. Any ideas? I've seen some people get repairs, but I also have tools to repair myself if possible. Alternatively, is there a way to get a replacement card? Any help is appreciated.
