Tausendberg Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 New problem came about today, When I turn on the Focus 3, the in-headset world is slanted and glitchy. By slanted I literally mean, the whole world is not level, it's as if it's tilted 30 degrees to one side and controller tracking is jumping around and head tracking is jumping around. I'm not sure if it's a hardware problem just because I seem to be able to correct the behavior by resetting the boundary and then as I'm resetting the boundary, I turn my head either way at which point the headset will go through a bit of loading and then everything is behaving like it should. What would be the issue?
dario Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 I've seen this when you have bad tracking data or the scene has changed (e.g. sunlit room over time). Does redoing the tracking space correct the problem? Do other spaces have the same issue?
Tausendberg Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 "Does redoing the tracking space correct the problem?" Yes, like I said, if I reset the boundary and then while doing that, turn my head either way 90 degrees, it does some loading and then everything is fine afterwards. "Do other spaces have the same issue?" I don't know, I'll try it when I have access to some other spaces.
Tausendberg Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 It seems fine now, apparently the Focus 3 is intolerant of me opening the blinds on my window. Odd.
