Gaze Navigation not working

Hello, since last week, the blue dot that pops up in my gaze when my controllers are turned off so that I can use gaze control as a cursor is missing. Has anybody else experienced this, or know how to get it turned back on? I haven't changed any settings in the console or steamvr so I'm not sure why it's not working. Would doing my room set up again fix this issue?
