brcli433
Hey! Was wondering if anyone knew if I can use an HTC Vive Cosmos Elite on my Acer nitro 5. According to the SteamVR Performance Test it should run well; my only concern is the fact my laptop does not seem to have any display port. According to my Device Manager (in the screenshot below) it should have some USB 3.10, which (according to my research at least) should support a displayport converter. Was wondering if anyone could confirm it works before I buy the headset
C.T.
the answer depends on which GPU your laptop has. Best
brcli433
the GPU is an Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti, and if it helps the CPU is a Ryzen 5 4600H

brcli433
it's not performance im worried about - the steam vr benchmark seemed to run well. the only problem is connectivity - the laptop doesn't seem to have any reliable way of connecting a displayport in
