Need help, headset unusable due to "pink lines"

First time posting. need help.

My headset is a vive cosmos elite. I can't use it because no matter what I try doing it always gives the same results (see attached picture).

The only thing that seems to be temporarily fixing it is if I click on the SteamVR or Steam window, which in turn is making unable to play my game (warthunder in this case) since the window is out of focus. I can't play any game as it does the same with everything. I don't know what to do, I have looked trough countless old threads and only 2 seemed to have a similar problem which turned out to be something else altogether. I just want to experience VR 😞 pls help

WHen I  had that kind of performances  problem with a modded skyrim VR I accidentatly discovered that opening the  windows task manager and letting it  open, solved my problem.

It does not hurt to try ?
