Would XR Elite work in the dark?

I don't see an XR series forum yet, so I hope it's ok if I ask questions about it here but I was wondering, since the XR Elite has a depth sensor, would that mean it can also work in the dark because the depth sensor would be emitting all the light that it needs for tracking?

I think the depth sensor is only used for AR/XR content. The XR Elite headset uses exactly the same tracking as the Focus 3, so needs some degree of light.
