Side USB C too Small for Any Cable I tried - Any Suggestions?

I have tried many cables to try to connect to the side usb c but none of them fit.  The port is recessed and the opening is very small to fit everything I have tried.  Any suggestions of what I can use to utilize this port?

Maybe I can ask the question in another way.  What is the intent of this port if the opening is too small to insert any standard usb c objects such as cables, memory cards etc... ?

It's meant for future accessories like face tracking.

I managed to purchase a small cable that would fit into the slot and it behaves exactly like the usb c on the top of the battery.  It recognized a storage device etc....

Can you share where you found a cable that fits? I haven't found anything small enough to fit in there yet.
