Is "MR Room Setup with Depth Sensor (Beta)" effective in improving spatial awareness at room scale apps?

I am trying Beta for the first time today.
I feel that the Beta version after MR Room Setup seems to be less prone to "boundary loss" than the public version.
However, this may be my assumption.

The MR Roomsetup with Depth sensor allows you to scan your home environment and store the data as a mesh representation. This mesh data enables developers to create mixed reality content that seamlessly integrates with your surroundings, resulting in a highly immersive and realistic experience.

I see that currently only the room mesh causes occlusion of virtual objects in passthrough mode. Is dynamic depth occlusion on passthrough an expected feature that we will get? So that your hands an objects you may be holding will show over top of virtual objects that are further away.
