Hi ,

I have ordered my HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap , after read that its a must have , but I still having a couple of question.

1  - Can I use the Delux Audio Strap headsets and Computer Speakers at the same time? how can I configure this?

2 - Can the Strap be adjusted to small heads (Kids :smileyhappy: )

Thanks

Yes, you can use your room speakers along with the headphones built into the Deluxe Audio Strap... here's how......

Leave windows audio settings set to your current room speakers.

Then in SteamVR (Settings / Audio) set the Mirroring option to the Vive.

Set the Mic (Record) to the Vive.

That should be it.

If you use the Advanced Settings Dashboard program, this can also be adjusted and set within the Vive. Here's the link to that for those who don't have it, quite handy to have.......

About sizing: it gets pretty small (small enough for most youths) but its design does prevent it from shrinking beyond a certain point which is probably for the best. Just keep in mind that the Vive isn't designed for children and has a minimum IPD of ~59mm which means that it will be blurry and distorted for younger users that don't quite reach the 59mm threshold. We don't recommend putting younger children inside of it for this and other reasons.
