Vive Pro v1 Wireless - USB-C Lav Mic Buzzing

I have a mod mic and a Sennheiser XS Lav mic. Both USB-C. They work great for 40 minutes. Then they make my voice buzzing and robotic. It goes away on it's own after 7 minutes. Or I can change the "default format" of the mic to clear up the audio. Or I can unplug the headset and replug it in. The original vive pro mic works just fine and never buzzes.

I plug the USB-C into the Vive Pro USB-C port next to the all-in-one cable. I use Vive pro wireless adapter as well.

I wonder if there is a short in the internals of the Vive or if this is a common microsoft software issue. If anyone has successfully dealt with this issue, please let me know.
