[PCVR & VIVE OpenXR] Hands in OpenXR hand tracking are slightly broken.

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling a bit stuck and could really use some help. I've been working on adding hand tracking to my VR project using Vive OpenXR with the Focus 3 device and VBS. Unfortunately, I've hit a frustrating roadblock: when I integrate Vive OpenXR with the XR Interaction Toolkit, the hands appear broken around the thumb proximal bone. It was the demo scene of the XR Interaction toolkit plugin.

The first video is the XR Interaction toolkit hand I recorded.

I also imported the Vive OpenXR sample to test its hand tracking, and I noticed that it was broken above the proximal bone of the index finger. The second video demonstrates the hand tracking issue in the Vive OpenXR sample.

VIVE OpenXR 2.4.1

XR Interaction Toolkit 2.5.4

XR Hands 1.4.1

OpenXR Plugin 1.10.0

Unity Version 2022.3.32f

Platform: Windows,Mac,Linux

 

I was really excited about integrating hand tracking, so it's been disappointing to hit this roadblock. Has anyone else experienced something like this or found a solution? Any advice or guidance would mean a lot to me.
