Professor 3DSound Posted October 18 Share Posted October 18 In 3DSP SDK, the function of Source directivity can be used to perform the sound sources with the directivity. Different to the function sound spatializer, the function of Source directivity is to perform the capability at different directions of the sound source. In the real world, a lot of sound objects possess the capability for the different direction. For example, the sound feeling should be different when someone stay in front of a TV and at the back of the TV. The differences for the different direction include sound level and sound response. In 3DSP, Source directivity is designed to execute the such kind of the case. Thus, it can be expected to make the sound events more real for the content developers. In the following video, a gramophone is rotated automatically.
