Yes the new SN looks right. I’ll pin my colleague to get you enroll soon.

@C.T.! Ermahgerd! I just finished a ten hour VRChat session and other than one instance where transmission was garbled, all was crystal clear with no lag whatsoever. So far, this beta update fully exceeds all of my expectations. THANK YOU

One last checking, you mean the headset software update, or VIVE Hub beta update today?

As of 10pm CST on 11/12/2024, which was when I started my wireless lag-free session I was running Vive Hub Beta 2.1.8 with the headset software update.

I just ran an update check for Vive Hub Beta, and see there is a new update for the Vive Hub software, 2.2.4a BETA. I have not tested this update yet, so definitely the headset software update.

I will check back in after I test the new Vive Hub Beta update and report anything interesting I run into.

So far, I am not a big fan of the 2.2.4a BETA update. It introduced significant lag into the wireless streaming experience that I did not have the night before on 2.1.8, as well as microphone sensitivity issues that other players gave me feedback about. I have audio one of the other players recorded of me speaking to demonstrate the reduction in audio quality. Please let me know how you'd like me to deliver this to you if it is of interest.

Sure, can you send me the recording via DM?
Does it become normal after exiting beta branch? Back to Public branch. (client may need to be updated).

I did not test revert to public, however I will test that tonight. Please send me a DM again, I clear my read list frequently and no longer have the Discord message you sent.

Borrowing this thread to share my wireless streaming problems.

Got my Vive Focus Vision ~month ago and have spent several evenings to get this wireless streaming work without success. No matter how good the signal from the router is, Vive hub shows that connection is bad and it lags like hell and is totally unplayable.

I have tested different routers "Huawei B715s-23C, Ubiquiti U6+ and Ubiquiti Pro AC". Huawei was directly connected to computer, Ubiquit routers had one ubiquiti switch between them, but all connections were using gigabit ethernet. Huawei and Ubiquiti U6 were tested with setup where those were totally standalone and nothing else were connected to those. Routers were always located on the same room. I was also desperate enough to test wifi connection from computer to this network where VR set was connected. But always the same outcome. Tx / Rx rates were around 500-800 Mbps when using ubiquiti U6.

I was able to test setup with the wired streaming kit and then it worked flawlessly. Thou every now and then when connection to steam VR started, picture was full of artifacts, but reconnecting headset fixed this issue.

Currently VIVE hub version is 2.2.4b BETA but have tested the 2.1.7a today and some others in the past.

I had terrible performance with a 6E router until I turned on TCP (I also have dynamic bit rate turned off). On my system, this changed the headset from unplayable to very reliable. Maybe even more reliable than the Focus 3, which is saying something.

I just received my headset this week.  My laptop is now wired to my router and I still have lagging in few games.  I plan to change my setup for Ubuitui U7 Pro.  Should I expect better performance with the headset or it's a waste of money for now ?  If I'm running a speedtest from my laptop I have this

428.4

Mbps download

87.3

Mbps upload
