virtuelconcept Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) Hello, We are trying to use openXR on Unity 2021.3.21, and we have some trouble with the connexion between the editor and the headset. We set up the parameters as required ( see images nvm i don't succeed uploading images ) and sometimes we got the tracking and the connexion with the headset, sometimes we don't have anything, sometimes we get the headset vision and tracking but not the hands, and we have no idea why. Our parameters on openXR render mode is multi-pass, Play mode OpenXR runtime is SteamVR. We enabled interaction profiles of everything, including htc vive controller. Under Open XR feature groups, we have D-pad binding, hand interaction poses and palm pose checked. Under XR Plug-in management, we checked initalize XR on startup, and OpenXR. We also have the problem on the unity VR template ( 2021.3.21 ) and on a 2019.4.40 with OpenVR but on this late version the problem is very rare. We are using openXR and a plugin called HtC vive input Utility. We have the problem with an htc Vive AND a cosmo, and the problem can occur on one headset, but not the other on the same project. We did update the htc drivers wand viveport, it seems to have helped but not fixed the problem. Does someone has experienced something like this ? I hope so, because we are clueless facing this problem. Edited November 6 by virtuelconcept
