Console not picking up headset on new VP2. ?Drivers not installing from set up

Hiya,

 

Hoping to get some help if I can.

 

Upgraded from an OG vive to a VP2 which arrived today.

 

Having some issues with the set up though.

 

Went through the set up process from VIVE's website setup exe.

 

Went through it. Plugged in the hardware and once everything is connected (as directed by the VIVE website on HMD set up) nothing happens. It looks like there aren't any drivers being installed.

 

This then seems more suspicios when I fire up the steam VIVE console and it just jumps up for a few seconds, says offline and then disappears into the system tray. Each time I launch console from here the issue repeats.

 

Steam VR itself picks up the headset fine but VIVE console refuses to come online and recognise the headset. 

 

Have tried clean re-installs of all the relevant software I can think of that could be at play here, reset USB devices from steam VR, resetting the link box but nothing seems to sort this out.

 

Running 4070 ti super. One display port used for the monitor and one for the link box.

 

Any suggestions of what may be going on here or anyway I can manually install the drivers?
