HTC/Vive refuses to acknowledge 2 year EU guarantee

We also got this problem.
We received a mail today that the lighthouse is broken (laser).
A ton of people enconter this problem!

The first time we contacted the support it was in the 2 year warranty. The told us to downgrade the firmware. Then the lighthouse seems to bee working but after testing it again we noticed bad tracking. We contacted the support again, rma it and now we should pay almost the same price of a new one!
