Autodesk Maya Scene prep and export for Vive 360 Video

I am prepping to render a 360 project out of Autodesk Maya 2018 in order to use with Vive and i'm looking to see if you have any personal info, direct knowledge,  links or documentation on the workflow?

Max frame size for best resolutio?

Things like what type of VR camera to use in Autodesk Maya (side by side or above and below)? 

What frame speed?

What offline viewer to use with Vive when displaying the video with/to the client?


This information would be really helpful in completing this project. Phase two of the project is to take it into unreal but for now its just the 360 video experience. I hope to represent the Vive experience well. Thank you!
