Alon_Goshen
So these are my ports. I bought a HDMI splitter (one port becoming 2), but that didn't help, so I'm hoping maybe one of the other ports can be connected to the HDMI that is coming from my TV, through the use of some adaptor, but I have no idea what these ports are, or if it's even possible. Any help please? :-)
Synthesis
I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do. Why are you trying to connect your Vive to your TV? Do you just want to mirror the display output on the TV screen? Thanks, -John C
Alon_Goshen
Yes, I am. The problem is that I don't have 2 HDMI ports in my Laptop, and the VR occupy the one that I do have, leaving me unable to connect the TV's HDMI...
HackPerception
You have a minidisplayport on that laptop so something like this should work. Always connect the Vive's HMDI directy to the laptop and not through the adapter as the adapters tend to be incompatible with Vive. You could explore USB-C hubs but that may be a bit more involved. You could also try connecting the linkbox via a minidisplayport -> minidisplayport cable - this seems to work on some laptop models and not others though.
