BillEnvrmnt Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 We would like to do some testing on the Vive Focus after connecting it to a wired ethernet connection. However after connecting it the Focus does not appear to detect the connection. Its connected via a USB-C to USB-A adapter with a USB-A to Ethernet adapter connected to that. This same connection setup works fine when tested with other android devices. Is there a setting I need to enable for the Focus to be able to make use of this connection type?
Tony PH Lin Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Are you looking the feature as USB Tethering for Ethernet connection? It's disable currently on Focus. Could you clarify more detail what situation you need this feature to support? Thanks.
BillEnvrmnt Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 Thank you for your response. Yes we are looking to use the USB Tethering to Ethernet feature. Sorry to hear its disabled on the Focus. This feature would be used for development purposes to test different latency and bandwidth situations in some applications we are working on.
epresence Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Would very much like to know how to enable the feature please.
