Htc vive pro without base station. possible?

Hello all,

i would like to buy VIVE PRO only HDM,

I would like to use it on a flight simulator-> position is fixed in a chair

Question. Can i run the HDM without the basestations. IF no, do i require 2 basestation or will it work only with one.

, the Vive Pro (and standard Vive) requires at least 1 basestatation to function and will not display a video signal unless it is visible to at least 1 station. If you mount a single lighthouse overhead it can often provide enough coverage for a seated SIM, however, two lighthouses will be a far more robust setup and have far less potential to encounter tracking issues caused by occlusion.
