WaveVR_Utils.Event.Listen (WaveVR_Utils.Event.ALL_VREVENT, OnEvent) stops working

WaveVR_Utils.Event.Listen (WaveVR_Utils.Event.ALL_VREVENT, OnEvent) stops working and any WaveVR_Utils.Event listener for that matter as soon as you change scenes. I've tried everything and I can only get this to register in the first scene I build. No matter if I load the next scene async or start everything from scratch I can't get it to work. Any thoughts?
