soulproximity
I'm using a new VR-ready Asus Republic of Gamers laptop. The Vive Pro came with a Display Port Adapter, by my laptop only has an HDMI port & 4 USB 3.0 ports. Vive suggestion was to get a mini-port to HDMI, so I did. Vive Setup still can't see headset, even though it shows it in Steam VR Report I just ran. I need suggestions please! Thanks guys. Synthesis
Hi there! I'm not sure who gave you the suggestion to use mini-displayport to HDMI, but unfortunately, that's not correct nor is it possible to transmit the full displayport signal over the less capable HDMI cable. You need mini-displayport or displayport. Do you have any USB-C ports? That's the other option. Thanks, -John C
