justintd Posted August 27, 2018 Share Posted August 27, 2018 I just bought a 2nd Vive and noticed in dark scenes that one eye looks different than the other. The right eye is uniformly dark, and the left is less uniform (has vertical bands) and has a reddish tint. I took 3 pairs of pics of the lenses here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1J4Jn9QMPzOlt8DRVvydj79mFrEp_6Fsf I put the headset stationary and in a dark scene then took those pics with my cell phone. I bought it from amazon. Am I better off RMA-ing just the HMD or returning it all to amazon for a replacement? I noticed that the amazon box it came in said "returns dept" on it, which was strange.
