Can VIVE wireless adapter send information of 3rd-party USB device information to Computer?

I am using an eye tracker device, which is connected to VIVE's own USB slot.

This 3rd party tracker sends information following the orders below.

DATA -> VIVE's USB SLOT -> VIVE's TETHER CABLE-> LINKBOX -> USB CABLE -> PC -> PROGRAM

 

If I install VIVE wireless adapter, can it be possible for my eye tracker to send information wirelessly?

DATA -> VIVE's USB SLOT -> VIVE WIRELESS ADAPTER -> NO TETHER! -> PC's PCle -> PC -> PROGRAM

 

Can this also be true for other USB 3rd party devices that were previously connectible

to VIVE's own USB port?: To communicate wirelessly
