MissStabby
Currently i'm waiting on my vive wireless adapter, Though i am wondering, how fast and flexible is the system in regards to losing signal (like between battery swaps) Can I just continue the game/software i'm using or will a connection loss basically mean a restart of SteamVR. (similarly i have a problem with my vive pre where when it disconnects from the link box i have to restart my pc in order to get the vive to run again) If a power/signal loss is a problem, would it be possible to develop/order some sort of hotswap plug that can take two battery banks and always maintain a constant powerlevel to avoid power outages during a battery swap. HackPerception
, the system is fully hot swappable on the power side. A loss of signal or power does not require the SteamVR session to be restarted - as soon as the HMD-side transciver has power and a good signal it simply resumes piping the session to the HMD.
