Killerkitteez
I have a designated play area for my Vive coming in 2 days, and wondering if it is sufficient size. It is 15.2ft by 30.4 ft also, the lighthouses will be 17 or so feet apart.
HackPerception
, Your space is plenty large and you'll likely only be able to use subset of it due to cabling and basestation range. The lighthouses are not really designed to work more than 15 feet apart. You can try to squeeze an extra foot or two out of them by using a sync cable (and at this distance that cable would be recommended), but overall, you may want to actually inset the basestations to be a little closer to each other and verage their FOV which is wider on the horizontal axis than the vertical axis. If you're able to set up your PC in the middle of your long axis, you may be able to use quite a large amount of that space. That said, lighthouse tracking is heavily dependent on your environment. You'll need to experiment a little to figure out what works best in your specific environment.
