It seems HTC is quietly ignoring this issue. The support chat was also not able to provide any answers beside wanting to sent it off to repairs. For now im going to refund it as its within 14 days, sadly enough. 


Will wait for official responces and see if ill then buy a new one, as the experience itself is really awesome.

I am doing the same, unfortunely.

Without info about if it's normal or not, fixable by software or not, we have no choice.

I have 14 days to return it, after mentionning I wanted to return it, so if I take my time maybe htc can communicate until then ...
