Rockjaw
Looks pretty good - but I am no expert in this! Your CPU and GFX are over minimum spec, you've got a good quotient of RAM... I expect you'll be just fine. You might want to make sure your motherboard has enough USB ports in it as well, as we take a few for VR. As soon as you get your rig make sure you test it using SteamVR Performance Test: http://store.steampowered.com/app/323910/ If you have an issue it'll tell you where the issue is. Good luck! EmptyPipe
I would add that a LAN connection is going to suit you much better than the Wireless card, but to each his own. Also, don't forget the SATA cables! :robothappy:
EmptyPipe
Also, *do not* forget this cable either. HDMI to Display Port Cable The GTX 1080 has only 1 HDMI port, which you'll need for the Vive. If your monitor isn't compatible with Display port, you'll need an adapter. The GTX 1080 does have a DVI port, if your monitor is compatible with that, but if not---you can always get a DVI to HDMI cable. (That's what I did when I set up my first rig) HDMI to DVI cable Some may be able to get the display card on the Mobo to run simultaneously with the Graphics card, but it gave me issues. Cables, Cables, Cables!
