yotam319 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I have an original vive and the wireless adapter, I had i5 4590 on a "asus H97PLUS" motherboard, and it was playable for most games, but my cpu was on 100% and skyrim vr looked horrible.. so I upgraded my system fromto a i9 9900k on a "asus rog strix Z390-H gaming" motherboard, and now everything looks horrible and the cpu is still extrimly high!!! what went wrong? I tried 3 diffrent PCI-E slots (2 x1 slots and 1 x4 slot), uninstalled steamvr and wireless adapter software, and reinstalled.. nothing work!!! please help, I upgraded my system specificly for the wireless adapter, and it just gets worse!!!!
hamlet2k Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 same configuration here, the i9 9900k seems to not be supported the performance is terrible! I noticed huge improvements with the rift.
Curious1 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Has this been resolved for you? Just about to push the button on a 9900k/wireless adaptor build
