MLGChicken
I have a very good internet connection at my place and normally with Steam i can get downloads at the max of 65 Mbps and the slowest it can drop is around 30mbs but when im trying to download a game through VivePort it is only going at a rate of 1.04 Mbps. Is there anything wrong with the servers on Viveports end? I would like to understand what is going on and i hope that im just not being dumb and i have done speed tests while im downloading the game and it says my download is 29.85 Mbps and my upload is 9.94 Mbps. Please can i have some assistance. Thank you to all who can help me out and make this understandable
HackPerception
, We use Reloaded technologies on all of our CDNs so it should max out your bandwidth in most cases - I normally see around 30-50Mbps in SF on Viveport. I'll start a support ticket with the email address associated with your forum account to connect you with someone who may be able to help you troubleshoot. Occasionally we see ISPs throttle our connections because the Reloaded tech requests too much bandwidth/connections causing it to get flagged as suspicious. It's important to note also, there is a huge difference between MBps and Mbps which may be contributing to the difference in numbers.
