Are Vive Knuckles Devs Considering Support for American Sign Language Communication?

What I'm going to ask is a real stretch after really thinking over. Will the Knuckles trackers able to tell the difference between the fingerspelling sign for R, U or V (crossed fingers, two fingers up, V for victory)?

Knuckles are a Valve product, not an HTC product so you should direct these types of questions toward their community as there's more activity there. I'm sure a developer with EV3's can just test the gestures you're mentioning and report back.

 

From my experience with Knuckles, they doesn't handle finger occlusion like in the finger's crossed example. That said, the ML model has improved significantly since I last time I sat down with a pair.
