The darkness is the video. In the actual game the house it lit properly with just the dining room a little darker.

Visibility is very good when in game.

Looking good especially for just a few days. I assume you're using Unity here? (Sorry if you said before.) If so, be careful about launching with too many pre-created Unity assets. I've seen the same soldiers and the same alien creatures in a few too many games. ;)

Hi Steven we are using ue4 ; )

 

The models used have been animated and rigged by us we use very little in the way of store assets.

 

Same goes for textures. The house frame was made in the editor itself using brushes and then converted to meshes.

I assume you've got all the UE4 documentation and stuff? Clearly, I can't tell the difference between one development environment and another. ;)

 

Keep us informed. I find it exciting to see games develop over time, it's always cool to see.

Not to worry we are experienced in UE4 development and also VR :) our previous experience runs at a nice steady 90fps. We always make sure that we adhere to this.

 

I will update shortly with another video as things has progresssed alot further now with a new enemy introduced too :)
